The Next Big Thing
Laura from My Baffling Brain has tagged me with the Next Big Thing Award. As always there are questions to be answered and bloggers to be tagged, so let's get a move on.
What is the working title of your book?
Where did the idea come from?
The original idea came from a flash fiction I wrote during the Blogging from A to Z blogfest this year. You can read it here (it's on my other blog), but be warned, the actual novel bears no resemblance to this story. (Note: after re-reading this story for the first time in months, I hope the novel turns out better written).
What genre does your book fall under?
Adult sci-fi horror fantasy. Is that a genre?
Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie?
It doesn't matter who I choose, Hollywood would screw it up.
What is the one sentence synopsis of your book?
It's a race against time for the Weaver, the Chancer and the Traveler as the universe collapses, tearing holes in the fabric of reality, and creating chaos across the worlds.
Will your books be self-published or represented by an agency?
I have no clue. I just want to finish it first.
How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?
Who or what inspired you to write this book?
After finishing the A to Z challenge, my interest in writing was rekindled. I also just to see if I could do it.
What else about you book would pique the reader's interests?
It's not about zombies, vampires, wizarding school, or children forced to fight to the death.
Now my bloggers (Please stop by and visit them all):
Jeanette at Folio Road
Clay at The Clay Wheel
Brian at Trickster Eric Novels
Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to answer the questions about your current WIP and to pass the award on to as many other bloggers as you want (I wasn't given a number of bloggers to tag-which is just fine with me; finding seven people to tag is a challenge sometimes).
I am going to try to drop off the face of the blogging planet for the next few weeks (not that I'm a prolific blogger or anything). I've got some work to do, and I'm highly tempted to call Insight and cancel my cable and internet for a month. They are so distracting. I'll be back for Monday Insipration in October. See ya then.
