Happy first Monday of the month. It's time for another Inspiration Monday.
Inspiration for this month: Camp NaNoWriMo.
I am starting a new novel this month, and Camp NaNo is hopefully going to help me get going. I had heard of NaNoWriMo before and the concept seemed to be insanity in personified. 50,000 words in a month? No. Just, no.
The good thing about Camp NaNo is that you can set your own goal. You don't have to do 50,000 words. You can do 30,000 or 15,000.
What's my goal? 50,000. I figure if I'm going for it, I'm going hard.
I put a NaNometer over there on the right if anyone wants to keep track. I'll try to stop in a couple of times this month for an update, but I'm going to be even more absent than usual.
BTW, the idea of this one came from the Jeff, Koch, and Lucille combo I did for A to Z. I really got interested in the characters and I couldn't let them go. But as a pantser, I have no idea of where I'm going with this (lots of character background, no plot) so I'm hoping it all works out.
